Ok, i am familiar with eq2 and am trying to start up again after a break from it...i just bought a new card today and am trying to make a new name and start from scratch, and it's not working for me...i have been sitting here for about 2 hours trying to figure it out because there is no way i can contact them and get a sufficiant answer that will actually help me...i fill out everything it says and then on the 3rd step i type in a name and click the box to except the terms and it just reloads the fucking page...excuse my french but i am pissed off as of now...in the past i also had much trouble with eq2 when i first canceled my account it wouldn't let me get to my setting which was fucked up as well...can a representative please give me some advise as to what i may be doing wrong or just make me a damned name...i have a card and nowhere have they asked me to type the code...thank you for your time ^_^

theres 3 things i can think of:

    a) theres something wrong with sony's registeration system
    b) you didnt fully cancel your last account (you can only register one account per eq2 box copy)
    c) its ur browser. if you are using IE try firefox, if ur using firefox try IE. sometimes different browsers freak at things like that. your safest bet though would be to use the registeration system built into the game.

Schutzbar - Human Warrior - Windrunner Alliance - World of Warcraft
Nihilanth - Kerra Paladin - Blackburrow - EverQuest II
    XBL Gamertag - Eagle15GT

I'm probably just confused but are you trying to start a new account with the same CD Key/Box set you had before ? If thats the case, it wont work. SOE only lets a Box Set CD Key be used once with 1 account, the only way you can continue to use a previously registered game is to re-activate your old account. If you don't want to do that, I believe you will have to go out and buy a new box set just for the CD key.

    Hope that helps.

You don't provide enough info about exactly what you are trying to do.

However, I just downloaded the free trial, used the login browser to create a new account, then tried to log in. I would not let me. I was sent to a screen where I had to enter a name for when I post on their forums. When I enter the name and click submit, it resets. So I go to www.station.sony.com attempt to log in using "my account", so that I can set a forum name there, if possible, but when I enter my log in name, pword, the page resets, just as you have referred to.

After much thought I figured it out. Whilst no message pops up to inform you of this, you must have cookies enabled. Once I enabled cookies I was able to login, and set a forum name.

Perhaps this is what is affects you too.
