Mediocre?
There are some good games on that list! I "just" purchased Odyssey and wow! I'm having a blast. Not perfect (so much crap on the screen trying to give you info) but it's really fun!

you can still call it mediocre, small list, not many of these games was good, plus chances are if was good I already played so why bother?

The games are fine..ish..
But there are only 12 of them. The size of the list is what is mediocre.
That being said, none of the games on the list are NEW. So anyone who was interested in them has more than likely already bought them. And the majority of them are also available on other subscription services. Uplay+ for instance has Assassins Creed Odyssey and at a more competitive price.
All im saying is, Stadia brings nothing new to the table at this point in time. Maybe in a few months it will be relevant.

Not many of those games are good? Just because they aren't brand new doesn't mean they aren't good. Red Dead 2? Odyssey? Destiny 2? MK11? I would say about 3/4ths of this list are really great games. It definitely is small though.
My concern is, they are going with multiple fighting games, if there's any input lag at all those are going to be the titles you notice it the most in.

Ok that's a bit more clear.
But I do think the a good many of the games are decent. Remember, not everyone is a "gamer" and will have played all of those. The average person will most likely not have played them. I know that I've played a few and there are several that I'd be very interested in trying but just haven't got to them. Hence why I just purchased Odyssey.
I've never heard of U-Play so can't say I'm up on my subscription services.
Maybe it will come down to price.

As of now Stadia is selling games one at a time. Wake me up when they're more Netflix-like and have a monthly pass with a lot of games worth playing included with the sub.

Who would actually use Stadia? Who is their target audience? This just seems like a big failure waiting to happen.
I think that's the crux of it. Maybe it's not for "gamers" but for regular people who sometimes want to play something. Additionally, aren't there issues with streaming these types of games or have those been corrected?

Why not buy PS or Xbox then? Or even Switch.
Still a larger initial purchase to buy those consoles, plus if they keep going on the path they are going on, they will have a large portion of major PC titles, which will be better looking than the console versions (not that a regular person would care all that much about that if they aren't already into games).

Again, how much is the cost?
If one already has a pc and wants to try some video games, and a streaming service is only a few dollars per month then why would one want to buy a console?
But it really goes back to "who" is this for. Would somone who doesn't normally play video games even know about these games? Or maybe it's for people who are just curious or see one game and want to play it and would rather not spend money buying them.
Too many questions.

You guys are forgetting the most important bit: Chromebooks as well as some Android tablets and the Pixel 2, 3 or 4 will let you play RDR2 and Cyberpunk 2077 using Stadia.
The system requirements are as low as they can possibly get. If you can watch video streams with your rig you can play any cutting edge PC game they offer.

Then I would say "that's the audience." People who are very casual, who don't want to buy a console, who are curious about this game or that, who don't need "50 games" on a service.

I wouldn't ever use this service, but isn't this making every game as convenient as "mobile" games? Just open your computer, start Stadia, pick your game and play.
As someone else said, once game selection is more like Netflix, this may take off like Netflix (which in the beginning also had selection complaints).
They are going for the more casual mobile games players, who won't buy a console, meaning once again many people on here are not the target market. It's not just MMOs, everything is moving that way.

I wouldn't call corrected, they said the controls would work like it would predicted the way you play the game and then do the move before you did to fix the lag issues, aka its like auto aim, with anyone who know how to play turn off because that thing make you lose headshots
plus come on, the public its stadia was supose to aim is not really gamers, they could put game like candy crusher and it would be the aim.
its like the cellphone games, why I would play a single player game online if I can do so offline and without the lag?
you could call it fix a problem then never existed

There are working poor and students out there for whom a console + TV would be a luxury but the cheapest laptop they can get their hands on is a necessity. The students with Chromebooks especially could be a big part of their market and if they adopt it, it'll be the next cool thing.

Destiny 2 and MK 11 without cross platform play that rely heavily on multiplayer for the ability to play the games. (Not even cross platform with Steam...lol, so enjoy playing with the 3 other people that have Stadia) Oh and not to mention outside Destiny 2 you have to purchase all the games for the normal, full price...
