i've posted this several places, figure i'd try here too..

i am in need of a really good shipwright on Eclipse.  not to build anything, but to RE several level 7 and higher loot and reward pieces i've aquired.

i got a YT, Firespray, and Bleulbublelabl....bellululabublb...grievious fighter all decked out, but they could be so much better if i get teh parts tweaked out.

 

anyone know of a good shipwright with plenty of parts for RE'ing?

 

on Eclipse that is.

Well, being a shipwright myself its usually like this :

The customer comes with all parts needed and I do the reverse engineering. Often for free or a minimal fee.

Its not usual that a customer comes with a few parts and hopes that the shipwright has the remaining fitting parts with exceptional capabilities. The shipwright, who is usually working with/for a guild too, is usually crafting the exceptional pieces into parts for the guild or for sale as soon as possible and does not have that many high end parts in storage.

I know of some ship tuners working that way (usually multi-pilot career master pilots themselves with lots of space loot aquired) but they are the exception to the rule - and none of them on your server.

thats what i am afraid of...

 

being a smuggler, i am undulated with loot (especially simple tool kits) so i dont have a lot of room for ship parts, i'm keeping the best ic an in hopes of exactly what you pointed out, that the SW will have parts of their own to work with.

Solution:

Cross server lot trading. You create a toon on someone elses server, he creates his on yours. You have him drop 10 storage factories with 100 item storage capacity each and give you admin, you place whatever he wants placed on his server.

You have to pay upkeep once in a while (1k per day per factory) , but lets be honest, thats peanuts.

You can store up to 1000 items (of not vital quality ... like hundreds of Simple Tool Kits and the usual non-legendary space loot) .

E voila ... you can gather whatever you want .

Having an alt with Master Merchant and up to 4000 item storage capacity on vendors is nothing to sneeze at too :-)

Wheezal, if your still looking for a shipwright, try getting in touch with Reda', she's an old friend and an excelent master shipwright, I'm sure she would be happy to help you, although I do know she still plays quite a bit, I can't be certain how often she logs on.

well, i was going to take both piecs of advice (lot trade and looking for the aforementioned SW), but...i got home after dropping a grand on a new clutch for my car and...
