Anyone heard of GameTap?

Sorry if this has been brought up in the past, but I just noticed this on Gamespot a little while ago:

Anyone heard anything else about it? It might be halfway decent just so long as the games it has aren't totally ancient..

Just thought it was interesting =)

I wonder how many games they will have? I hope they have enough to keep me satisfied for at least a little bit.

I only brought it up because it was in Gamespot's news section yesterday, it's getting ready to launch soon, and I thought it was interesting.

Thanks for contributing to the thread. *rolls eyes*

    Oh pssh

You asked, and I responded !

Actually, I had asked if anyone had heard anything about it, not simply whether they had heard if it at all. So while you responded, it wasn't even regarding what I had asked.

Sorry 'bout that Orcc...was working yesterday. Anyway, the main site for it is here:

It kind of sounds like the cable channel TV Land, but for games =).

...So pay monthly so you can play old (emulated) games. Something tells me this concept is going nowhere.
