Battlefield 2 headaches part 2 (as told by sackynut)

ok, so I just ordered a new nvidia 6600 off newegg because while playing bf2, my 5700 wasnt cutting it. But that is not the problem I have currently with the game. My internet provider, Sbc Yahoo, is charging my family $40 a month for "upgraded" package DSL, which we chose to order because it was much much faster, and it is. The internet connection seems to perform very well on the internet, or in counter strike, or any MMO that I play. But during battlefield 2 (i actually calculated) an avgerage of every around 10 seconds i get "there is a problem with your connection" for a few seconds then I end up dead, or about to be. Sometimes my ping shoots up to over 1000, and Im wondering if this is my internet, because everyone else in the server have normal pings, and i do choose server on my part of the country, so its not location. And I am getting real fed up with it ruining my score, and taking the fun out of the gameplay. maybe ill just play F.E.A.R....
