    Yeah, the last early access game I bought was Pagan Online. That was by a major studio, and look how that shit turned out.

    I bought Pagan Online but have not had a chance to play it. Is it really that bad I have been levelling my 10 characters on classic and have no spare time.

    Edit: And that was before I looked at the footage. Good god. Clearly a 1 person (or very small team) game that looks 10-15 years out of date.

    It has a lot of glaring issues that prevent it from delivering a comparable experience to other ARPGs. Stingy loot, poorly designed difficulty settings, slow pacing, hp sponge enemies, and extremely poorly balanced gameplay that results in Lukian being the only truly viable hero (and all melee heroes being completely worthless).

    It needs a ton of work, and the lack of developer communication and completely dead subreddit aren't helping.

    The only 2 ea mmos I bought into are gloria victis and the repopulation. Totally regret TR and GV has spent too much time adding a 3rd faction on a low populated game rather than stuff like horses etc
    Wont do another.

    Facebook should be the LAST place on Earth anyone should be told to go to.

    This thread smells heavily of advertising and being tied directly to Facebook is a big time NO WAY.

    Checked it out on Steam,it is a pile of crap,looks like a LAZY 1990's design,all fogged out graphics so that nobody needs to work on optimization because there is VERY little ever in view.
    Combat is some giant numbers flashing on screen ruining the view then the enemy just dies,seems like some kid designed the combat systems.

    Lol this just smells like a cash grab. Its early access and says this is the alpha version of the game yet has extra "buyable items" that influence gameplay (20$ to turn into a werewolf). But hey, some people like games like this so knock yourselves out.

    That's unfortunate. Well I won't bother than when I do have some time on my hands.

    It's not just any early access game. It's an early access game with only a single developer. What could possibly go wrong there?

    Most likely, it stapled together some game engine and stock assets, and called it early access without adding very much to it.

    They are probably saying go to Facebook cause you can see a timeline with unalterable dates of the game feature updates the ONE GUY making the game posted as he was working on them. The dates I see go back to 2015 which means this person started working on the game around the same time Crowfall had their KS campaign. The fact that he's been working by himself on the game that long deserves some credit and kinda means it's not really a cash grab? Four years of work for a btp 19.99 price doesn't really scream scam to me.

    You need to develop a thick skin, Bill put up with sort of nonsense for years. If someone does not suggest chicanery in an article like this, I tend to worry if some of our posters with more "liberal imaginations" are ill. :)

    It is incredibly difficult to design some meaningfull leg content that would fit a space ship game - simply because it is not a leg game.

    Nah, its an MMORPG- This site named "mmorpg.com" doesnt have much to talk about regarding new mmorpgs or interesting developments so I imagine they will happily cover anything new- And I'm glad they do.

    But oh man the cash shop item in an EA game rubs me the wrong way...Especially with a $20 item.
