I just saw on IGN an article about a MMO that hits open Beta next year. It has a team of 100 working on it from the Netherlands. It looks great although I am not sure about the top down view. They haven't announced payment model, although they say it will not be pay2win. (fingers crossed for sub only)
Check out the website, I am curious to hear what people think

Sorry here is the article.
EQ1, EQ2, SWG, SWTOR, GW, GW2 CoH, CoV, FFXI, WoW, CO, War,TSW and a slew of free trials and beta tests
Looks nice judging from trailer
Come on guys!
You know how it is.
Jaykay, but the slow movement might get old after a while.
That mount &/or train looked barely faster.
Where's my 310% mount speed?
Could be interesting, unless it's like Albion Online, which I couldn't get into for some reason.
Gut Out!
What, me worry?
As mentioned above, the slowness stood out to me, but it could be like some games where your character doesnt start getting speed boost items until later int he game.
Ill keep it on my radar, but nothing I feel is worthy of following closely.
Brenics ~ Just to point out I do believe Chris Roberts is going down as the man who cheated backers and took down crowdfunding for gaming.
These games that are using top down view and look like ARPG's are not even remotely close to being even a AA mmorpg. This game is a complete dud, does not look good and because of that i didn't look any further into it.
100 people on that...THAT,,pfft what are they doing ,drinking coffee and eating doughnuts all day? With a team of 100 they should be able to pull off a real good quality game.
I do understand demographics and that it would be MUCH easier to pull off higher quality games in China for example because wages are so incredibly low,the overhead would be very low.A lot other nations around the world would have very high overhead fro ma team of 100 and be trying to whip out a game in very quick order before costs get too high.
It really is an unfair market but not my problem,i only care about the games i want to play.
Never forget 3 mile Island and never trust a government official or company spokesman.
It looks like they used the same engine.
I like their attitude!
They did mention PvP, so I'm skeptical. Info is on their forums and I don't feel like wading through that for answers. I can wait
The top down seems rather fixed, though I could be mistaken. I did not see the camera move in/out at all during their gameplay stuff.
It does look interesting, though. Let's see what happens, shall we?

Personally the only modern MMORPG trend that annoys me is the idea that MMOs need to be designed in a way to attract people who don't actually like MMOs. Which to me makes about as much sense as someone trying to figure out a way to get vegetarians to eat at their steakhouse.- FARGIN_WAR
