    I read the first 2 books this month and am on the 3rd.  I'd give it a 6 out of 10 after the 1st episode.

    Renfri was pretty cool.  The Cintra scenes just didn't do it for me.  Not really loving Ciri so far.  But I've only watched episode 1.

    If you're expecting emmy award winning writing and acting then you're going to be disappointed. If you're expecting the witcher franchise made by Netflix then you'll be fine. Netflix even refrained from turning it into an sjw mouthpiece like they seem to do with other franchises (looking at you designated survivor).

    Not that big a fan of the Witcher games but I like show a lot. Seeing Yennefer's back story [pun not intended] is pretty cool.
