Amazon did a really good job, its bloody good and bloody. :p  I enjoyed its previous anime and the live action movie, haven't read the manga but am digging this redo.

    I have only read the Manga. They just started a new arc this year.

    Yeah, the manga was great, though it took so long for it to finish, I might need to reread it again. I think once I almost took a 10 year break before I commenced to read it anew, just because of the absurdly long timespan it took to draw it.
    Is the Anime following the original storyline? Is it worth watching it?
    I enjoyed the action scenes in the live movie, although of course they butchered the story (like the always do, but I dont mind, it was still an entertaining popcorn flick).
