I used to live outside the city, I know it sucks, you'll get used to it though. I live in a semi-city I would say, but it's good enough for me. It's not nice living in the middle of a huge city eigher. I like where I live.

i would love to live in the middle of no-where. i hate/dispise the city damn drivers not using blinkers stoping short, arg damn inconciderate drivers they all should die. there the reason for crappy rush hour traffic. sorry tanget. see i grew up in a small town so i love it your lucky you dont have to deal with half the crap big cities do.

i would live in the middle of no-where but jobs are not a big thing in small towns.

A little too far from the city, for my tastes. I live about 20-25mins away from school, but I don't mind the nice drive to and from school. I'll survive.

I live on 5 acres, 20 miles away from town. It is not that far, it just sucks not having anything to do where I live.

Ive lived between 60 and 200km from the closest major town or city for the best part of the last 15 years... Only in the last 2 weeks, we just moved to about 15km from the major town in this region and its about as close as I would ever want to get. As for living in a "city" .... its like being chucked in the monkey cage at the zoo.... not for me thanks...image

WOW, you think you have it bad lol. i live in arizona where it gets up to 120F out here. i live about 20 min away from the city. but our little community that we live in is pretty new. so they're just starting to build a school and super market out here.

But this place is out in the middle of the desert where there's rattle snakes and scorpions and coyote's and all that other desert wild life crap. not to mention the heat strokes the people have out here. and it takes about 30 min. for an ambulance to come when something happens because they cant find the damn houses.

here is where i live. www.vistancia.com

we have a shea house if you want to look up a model and we live in the neighbor-hood called monterra. just click on builders and then there will be a list on models click on shea homes. ^_^

I live in a city and I have never in my life felt cramped, caged or anything. Then again I live in wichita, kansas, which, even being the largest urban center here, isnt all that big. But its my home and I love it.

I think it's the objective of your past self to make you cringe.

Lol, for some reason I can relate to this kids feelings, I was once in the phase of wanting to go to the big stinky, I thought it'd be way better then the peaceful boring lil town I live in..... Then I got the internet and a computer.  I don't care either way anymore lmao.

I live in a typical mid size city in france (200 000 inhabitants) and just in the center.. with all houses being average 200 / 300 years old, (the entire center is dating 1600ish)
city is called strasbourg it is in alsace .. (know for good wines, and breathtaking scenery)
I Loved those mid size citys.. just big enough for things like modern infra.. but small enough to take your blades and be in green by 5 minutes..
=< pic of strasbourg & alsace

another one .. english as well..
    good source of info
