i think the gas we get is like $2.80 and to fill up a 31 gallon tank thats insane....also i heard shifting up to 6th gear quicker actually saves gas...is that true?

I think it is worse for US consumers because on average we commute to and from work at longer distances.

And as far as Kiamde's question on how oil goes down $3.00 per barrel yet rises at the pump, here is my theory on that, and yes, it may upset the murt. image

President (not by my vote) Bush will always go to the extreme to gain support for his crazy ideas. His latest being that he wants to drill in Alaska. He says that it will help ease the current gas prices and if drilling is not done soon, gas will continue to soar to an all time high. Well, most in Congress and the Senate are against the drilling and experts say that it will not help a bit, in fact, that most of the oil drilled will go to Japan or China.

The reason for high gas prices is that Bush wants to drill because  he and his friends in the oil business will benefit. So, in order to get his way, why not create an "oil crisis" just like he lied about "WMD"?

Well i'm afraid thats what you get my American friends, after all you are the biggest consumer of Oil in the entire world i guess its only natural that you should start to pay for it :P.

Over here in the UK i dont know the exact price but it's over 90p a litre, no doubt by next year we'll be paying £1 a litre.

So dont complain afterall your not doing bad, driving around in your 4-5 litres car engines and your still paying for fuel in Gallons lol

In case you have not noticed, we have been complaining about the whole picture, not just one country's woes.

I suggest everyone pick up the most recent National Geographic. The main article this month is about oil crisis and alternate fuel sources.
