Well, out of this list I would say WoW, though I wasn't really satisfied with MMORPGs released in 2004/05.::::05::

I picked WoW. Not because i like it, but just because it was IMO the best of the crap that has come out over the past 2 years.

    Slim pickins...

My pick would be Saga of Ryzom. I didn't enjoy the post-Patch 1 combat enough to stay with it, but I think it had the best overall design of anything in recent years, particularly with regard to their skill system. There were some gaps in it, as there are in all new releases, but there was also some pretty remarkable depth. All in all, a very impressive first title from a very small company.

I agree 100%. It had lots of potential, but I think the small company is what made it not last. If they had more experience, I know they could have filled in the content, quest system, and skill gaps, and made it the top game of the year.

I vote on "None of the Above" as none of them were better than a 6/10 stars for me.

It sucked at release but it's still 2005 and now it's the best of the bunch.

And what did it chance, if may ask?

I don't like any game released in that period, but maybe EQ2 for its team spirit.
