WOW Wins Gamers Choice

G4, the gaming channel, had their G-phoria awards show recently and WOW took the Gamer's Choice Award. It was nominated in several other categories such as Game Of The Year, but that title was taken by Halo 2.
In related news the best "Online Gamer" was Leroy Jenkins from WOW.

I don't know about the best game but it is the game I'm playing at the moment and I've been here since beta. I will probably be here until Saga of Heroes comes out, and I don't think I'll be changing games in the near future. I prefer playing this one over the other MMO's. I've tried them all and each one has it's problems.

Gamer's Choice was not MMOs, but all video games that came out this year. You can just chalk it up as WOW having more "fanboys" if you like. I personally meant to vote but never got around to it.
G-Phoria was OK, but seemed a bit low budget to me. I was wanting to hear from the developers that won the awards but they were oddly not present. It was not near as good as I was hoping it would be. I hope everyone has gotten a chance to watch the video of the CG Gollum/Smeagul accept his movie award (Academy Award I think?) and would have liked to see something like that from Master Chief and other characters.
