EA announced a new Skate game!

A new Skate game is in the works! I'm very happy about this, as whilst I've been boycotting EA for 7+ years, I've always said that I would break my boycott for a new skate game. I love the mechanics and the view point, it just makes everything look amazing and feel really special (as opposed to the million point combos of tony hawks).

I don't even really care about what the main story / missions / whatever is going to be, as long as they give me a large, open world and good skate mechanics, I can have a great time.

Main thing I'd like to see improved from the previous game is, first and foremost, a PC release. It's always bothered me not being able to play on PC, I bet the modding community would have done amazing things with the game if they could. Second thing would be a better skate park editor. I loved the editor in 3, but there was never quite enough items or locations, plus the item limit got in the way at times.

Have to say, its been an interesting week for EA. Between Star Wars Squadrons going horizontal progression, hotas support and no dlc, this new announcement plus their anti-harassment thing, im starting to think slightly better of them!

I've never played a Skate game but I do know so many people who are super excited about this announcement. It's just interesting that they wouldn't blatantly say Skate 4, they kept saying the next evolution in the Skate series. I'm hoping that doesn't mean just an HD rerelease or something.
