Pagan Online Going Single Player

Remember Pagan Online? Most probably don't. I had some harsh words when it released especially concerning its level design and badly thought out combat.

Now it seems as if I wasn't the only one as Pagan Online is shutting down its multiplayer part:

Did you play it? What did you think? I thought the classes were pretty cool, and that was pretty much it.

'This does not apply just to ED but SC or any other game. What they will get is Rebirth/X4, likely prettier but equally underwhelming and pointless. 

It is incredibly difficult to design some meaningfull leg content that would fit a space ship game - simply because it is not a leg game.

It is just huge resource waste....'

    I really regret my purchase of the game. I liked the WASD control scheme and the general flow of combat, but that's about it.

    The gear was stingy. The difficulty was far too high for an ARPG. Everything took so goddamn long to kill. The mage was the only character that the game actually seemed to be balanced for. And melee characters were completely worthless.

    I am not the least bit surprised by this news. The reddit has been dead for like half a year or so. But it's also hilarious, because fuck this game.


    The tldr for this game is that Pagan Online sounds like a dating site for me to find the like-minded blue-haired hipster atheist of my dreams. And that's what I wish it was.
