Trying to think of good MMORPG soundtracks... help me here! MOST nostalgic would be??

Hey Guys! I am trying to think of some good MMORPG soundtracks to remix or cover with instruments to make much more professional sounding... but its hard to picture which ones were truly nostalgic... so far these ones come to mind and trust me I have likely played all of the same games as you!

RAWR I feel like I am missing something but cannot figure it out... what else was there again?? There are probably TONS that I had forgotten about.. I mostly focused on PVP but its been awhile...

I am thinking of doing the major songs... that most people would remember hearing... for nostalgia... and then stick it in my "Chiptune Nostalgia" album which is free to download by the way as I continuously update it as a fan! I will be making really cool artwork as well for every song and embed the file with it for when its played... etc. http://theeuntitled.bandcamp.com/

Am I missing out on anything or any song you would like me to do? Straight up asking and will likely do whatever you suggest, even if I do not remember it much SO MAKE THOSE SUGGESTIONS TO HELP ME WHAT PEOPLE WOULD ENJOY HEARING THE MOST!

hrmmMMMm... yeah I am getting some good ideas... lol kind of like "roasting" the game in a way... kind of like complaining about it with sound effects, tweaking their soundtrack?? but also thanking them for making it lol... told in a way or maybe even sung that fans would all relate to! haha

YEAH THAT IS ACTUALLY A GREAT IDEA! I could make stories and tell about all of the funniest moments of each game!!! Hells yeah... excited for this... think I will stream and work on it in an hour or so? maybe now : P

As I recall that game was too grindy for me... and I didn't like the cartoon look... but sure I will do a song for the game... just won't have any lyrics and I will use sounds and alter songs.. so its oddly familiar to Lineage 2 players... any particular part that you want me to do?? Like any time during the game you remember thinking, "this music is good!" while playing?? where were you when this happened?!

I've grabbed the song for Lion's Arch or whatever that place was called... figured that people would recognize that one the most... although I doubt that it will sound anything like that song when I am done with it... but the listener should be able to tell that its the song... just heavily altered ^ ^

WOWZERS!!! I had just remembered Star Trek Online and so I went to their main theme to do that song... was thinking that it would just be one small song to remember their game... but then found like 30 REALLY GOOD SONGS TO DO ON THERE!!! Damn, that will be a lot of fun but it would be so long... no way people would think that it came from a Star Trek game... its pretty good already but when I put my hands on it, its going to sound reeeeeally good ^ ^ heh

Pretty cool... so I have just downloaded a shizzle-ton of stuffs... took down all of your recommendations and since I will be likely doing this until I die they will keep me busy and I am sure I will be making a ton of songs and often (making music... most of it MY STUFF though that I will be getting paid for... this stuff will be free just for the sake of being a fan and appreciation fan art)... every once in awhile if you care to, check out the album "Chiptune Nostalgia" as I continuously add new music to that album for the free download.

Thanks guys, have a lot of good recommendations... and so many good ideas from going over this... check back again in 2060 when I am an old man pushing 80 while I am making remixes still for video games that I used to play... lol... I think that I will likely give up gaming though and keep working on art instead... but there are a few occasionally that I am sure I will feel simply must be tried out... and I think that on DAY 1 of the biggest releases it might be a good idea to play the game just for the first couple days and do a quick review of it along with a funny psychedelic song telling people about my experience... and make it funny but promote the game at the same time... well, unless it pisses me off for some reason? : P 

Think that I am going to stream now... and start on the Everquest one first! A combat song with the infamous skeleton laugh but done in a really cool way that will not sound like video game music from the 90s... since it is not 8 bit or 16 bit the songs will likely sound better than the other songs from that album... I have quite a few songs then to work on till I die... should be fun!

Yea for me it's still EverQuest.  I am flooded by nostalgia when I hear the old original midi login screen music.  I like some Final Fantasy stuff too.

Thanks guys! I have downloaded all of your suggestions and will do something for each one and put it on my "Chiptune Nostalgia" album over time... it will take while to get all of it done... but eventually it will happen!

This is the only one that I have not played... thanks, it sounds pretty good! I will add it to the list..

age of conan has best soundtrack. most are forgettable tbh..
