Originally posted by Billings So I just cancelled. I have been playing 3 weeks. I enjoyed my gnome mage at first and the graphics are excellent, however there is never any grouping or people looking to group. I was on a pvp server which had no pvp (was killed once and that was the first and last time I saw a horde player). I guess this game would be ok if you had alot of friends that play mmorpgs, maybe then if you all started at the same time you could group together.
No people to group?!?! What server was this? I'm sorry, I usually believe people at face value, but no people on a WoW server? When I played (on Spirestone) it was all I could do to AVOID grouping! I just wanted to solo and I would get CONSTANT requests to group even at like level 6. If the only problem you had was no people then just pick another server, they are loaded with people.
Originally posted by Daemona I can tell you two things you did wrong. 1. You made an alliance character and expected to find a group. Not going to happen. 90% of the alliance are weak cowards who will only run an instance if they have a level 60 from their guild with them. and i say this having raised several alliance characters into their mid thirties. If you want teamwork and socialization, you will have to go Horde. I did it, and have never once looked back. I am a troll to stay. 2. You went to a PvP server for this. My experience with a PvP server sucked. There was no honor on either side. If you were red and 20 levels or lower, you were going to get ganked. If you're looking for smart, intelligent, teamwork minded individuals, you won't find it on alliance, and it's doubtful you'll find it on a PvP server. I server hopped about 5 or 6 times before I found my home. turns out it was an RP server that suited me Maybe it can suit you too.
1. So because you played some allaince to mid 30's your an expert on all servers and you just know it all huh...that sounds ignorant as hell to say somthing like that, also you couldnt have possibly run all those instances to make that broad of a generalization. and if they do have a lvl 60 with em running the instance you were right there doesnt that make you a coward to? 2. I started on a pvp server i didnt have good experiances either. But i never said anything about getting ganked i played pvp on eq so i expected ganking.i was with you till you started talking crap about sides its not the side that matters it makes you sound cocky and arrogent to say things like that and it only makes you yourself look bad.In your sig doesnt it say your humble it doesnt sound very humble to me it sounds like your a bit full of yourself.Going around saying my side is the best is pointless cause i have not seen you or your guild in action so how can you make all these claims? I play a horde but im not as full of myself as you are aperantly its a shame to see this here.....

Total B.S. On spirestone on alliance side there was no problem grouping. To say 90% of alliance are weak cowards only shows that you are a short sighted weak minded person or are just in a bad mood. There is good and bad on both sides.

As I said, there is good and bad on both sides, and on all servers. Believe it or not, there are people with honor who refuse to kill someone that is grey to them.

Complete and total hogwash. Emerald Rain is an alliance guild on the Spirestone server run by my gf. They are a teamwork oriented guild that has true honor and is run like a family.

PvP servers are more exciting but I would suggest you only play there if you are level headed and not apt to spaz out because you got ganked. The great beauty in WoW is the amount of different areas to play in: if you get ganked, move. You will find that some areas have less gankers.
There is good and bad on both sides of the coin, I pray that you have enough sense to realize this.
