Do you recall a guy named Alexei he was a cleric in Arcane Dominion. When AD was beginning to crumble he created a guild called The Foundation. He asked me to join and seemed kinda sketchy to me but we grouped up. He and I started alts as gnomes although I wasn’t aware he had a bad rep on his 50th cleric.
Turned out to be a pretty horrible cleric after grouping on our 50s. Spent most of the time trying to shoot things with smite and stun not healing.
This is hilarious that someone remembers 12 year old me. I was Alexei. Never started "The foundation" though. I did start Dark Ascensions. Was pretty bad.
I actually had a few close people in a lot of guilds on bertox as I matured. Ended up refilling and playing with old school players who were in "Vanguard" on the tribunal where I promise I wasn't stunning and smiting eventually we went to WoW and competed with Afterlife, but they were a farcry from their EQ or vanilla WoW days. Always enjoyed playing a healer or a tank even into my college days.
Btw it was Darkwyrm, not "Darkwurm," and he definitely had his detractors. When they migrated to Terris Thule Ueuelyan ended up leaving with most of the guild to form Clan Ta Veran - pretty sure him and the core members of Dark Brotherhood left because amicably, but they didn't want him leading anymore. That's all hearsay and maybe someone can clear that up. CTV had a long run though! Seemed like good people.
