Sounds like a graphics driver issue. They can come and go. Make sure that you have the latest drivers for your card.

I take it that you downloaded the new driver. Once you've done that, it should ask you to install. Try here - https://support.ati.com/ics/support/default.asp?deptID=894&task=knowledge&folderID=27. Pick the 25 or 33 meg download option. No dial up I hope!image Once downloaded, open an install. Reboot and away you go.

This might not resolve you problem but it can only help to be honest.

The $60 1Q05 GF6200, (NV44: 300MHz core, 550MHz memory, 4 pixel/3vertex pipe, 128bit bus width, [1200MB/s fillrate, 8382 bandwidth;]) at least it was a DX9 gpu. This 75M transister gpu is doing 2002 DX8.1 GF4 Ti (NV25) #s performance. Hopfully this is not the Go nor TC model 6200. This gpu is like half the performance of the 2003 R9800pro.

You might want to check gpu driver site www.guru3d.com for info about relative Detonator & newer FX type gpu drivers, whql drivers are for non-overclocked systems. The guru site also have articles on how to properly install gpu drivers, and programs that remove hidden / in-use gpu drivers that can contaminate a newer gpu driver install (detonator destroyer, NV Cleaner.)

Your system, try the www.futuremark.com site for the 3DMark 05, 03, 01 performance benchmarks to compare your system's performance to similar and uber systems. You may see the current uber (GF7800gtx/A64) systems doing 16k in 3DMark05, while yours is only doing 2k... room for improvement there.
They (SOE) brag about their EQ2 game needing 'high-end' systems to realize "acceptable" performance in medium settings. Your low end GF6200 just bairly passes the DX9 minimum gpu requirements even though it supposedly is 3.0 pixel and vertex shader version capable.

It would be suggested by many to try and update your system to at least a GF6600gt ($130 ish agp, [$150 ish pcie.]) The GF6600gt (NV43) is about 20 % beter than the R9800pro. And is a definate improvement over the GF4 Ti calabre cards your current GF6200 is similar to.
