Long past over-due that the way games are made, as well as "big tech" in general was seriously regulated. Oh I know the usual suspects will always try and preach their "gospel" of "laissez-faire free markets" (another FAILED doctrine) but the clear proofs are legion. The whole "system" of buying these games even before they're at-all playable - where else would this lead to but these kinds of outcomes? Look at the issues with the current elephant-in-the-room Cyberpunk. The money men's GREED is always infinite, will always push these things out regardless of actual readiness as all they see is their holy-symbol shining $$$. The idea of checks-and-balances, without strong regulation and absolute transparency mad-greed will always be rampantly scamming, endlessly pushing snake-oil "products". As far as this particular instance, I hope some of the interesting and good original ideas are salvaged by some good company that manages to use them. This genre of gaming is in such desperate NEED of some serious innovations.

I can't wait for this full featured MMORPG, developed, maintained and hosted by 1 man with no funding to be released. It's gonna be great, I can tell.
