Sorry for your terminal lack of taste. I'd recommend 3 cc's of Path of Radiance, but I think you might be beyond saving.

FE has seen 30 years of rising success and will only continue to reign as king of the genre it created years after all pretenders have passed on. Tactics Ogre? Nah. Valkyrie Profile? Kept a low profile. Shining Force? Ouch, that one actually hurt. FF Tactics Ogre Reskin? Try again.

Sure, buddy. I don't expect much in the way of insight from you, but the whole franchise has sold less than the last FE alone (which also won a Player's Voice award because it's that damn good) and died 10 years ago.

I can't wait for the next titles after this one: Project Parallelogram Platformer and Project Rhombus Racers.

Their titles really are weird. Octopath Traveler was at least a really cogent summary of what the game is. I doubt this title will stick the same way.

Dude is talking about that DS profile game with the whole tactical bs.

Anyhow fire emblem is fine. It's the fans that are the problem.

Nobunaga crushed em all. Game was made when I was like three or something.

Fire emblem came out in the 90's and I remember being hyped for a US release thanks to some nintendo power article.

Wasn't that great. I mean when I played it on the GBA like hella years later and was like "Neato".

Created...ffs if you gonna fanboy do it right.

1990. You probably played the GBA version first 2003. Long after you'd played other tactical games (I assume).

Unless you speak perfect japanese and or were there for the fan patch in like 1999...lol.

Meanwhile I'm still arguing with friends 20 years later about dual wield mnk in fftactics. So i dunno when i hear about fe it's usually a updated port of the older games.

Cool, neat glad we have em but maaaaaaan FFT was just more fun in it's day. Tactics ogre was really fun on the SNES which was damn...still out before you even played fire emblem one.

true but making a knight wearing the ragnarok and any top knight sword was pretty much insta kill, but fft was more or less a small copy of lets cling together, with was pretty much the best ogre battle they pushed and too bad they never tried to keep the series that way, had a GBA version of it like a prequel from one of the main villains

fire emblem was all just abou the relationships for it giving a diferent final really, pretty much they was always meh 3 houses kinda upped the bar a little for a fire emblem game, but still is lacking the way ogre battle build

The original price of Octo was atrocious,so i waited and waited, took awhile then only saved like $20 from the orignal 80-90 or whatever it was, over priced no matter what.I was very skeptical because when i see aged cheap graphics i just don't trust devs in 2020 selling 1999 graphics.

I bought the game, played it for i think 2 days and never wanted to play it again, very disappointed.Point being i am not likely to buy anything ever again from Square, they have been selling a lot of half assed cheap games the last 10 years. There is the very odd decent game,at least large in scope but not all that in depth like FF15 but overall SE has been tossing out cheap cash grabs.\

You can just see in the pictures this is another puny character, munchin land design, that era has LONG passed, time to move on and step up with better production.

Never forget 3 mile Island and never trust a government official or company spokesman.

Stayed up late and played the demo in its entirety the night it was released. The abysmal loading NEEDs to be fixed. The voice acting and dialog are cringeworthy. Having said that the game is still awesome and will be a day 1 buy for me. I see the bones of some good systems in this game. I hope they incorporate territory control as they seem to allude to in the world map (although that is likely more of a pipe dream on my behalf). If they actually do include territory and stronghold management (again which i doubt but still hope) on top of the branching story possibilities it already displayed and the tactical depth it showed this will be a game i play for many years.

Plot twist - Wizardry loves everything and is deeply in denial about it.
