How come consoles aren't getting games like Legends of Runeterra and the like? You would think it would be minimal work and the game design should be 100% perfect for a console. There's 2 card games right now that I could find on my xbox. It's beyond missed opportunity. I mean the games themselves are like 1g-5 or 10g max and the UI would just seem perfect wouldn't it?

I guess I can't edit my post probably should have just said "5 or 10 gigs max."

I also ran into this problem as well, the gear is not at the top right corner of the post, it is at the upper right corner of the header, that will allow you to edit both the post and the header.

    Hope that helps

Because of the cost of publishing games on a console. For a mobile or PC game, the cost of publishing on a platform is near zero with profit sharing. For 3rd party developers on consoles, they have to pay the console developer upfront and profit share. For small developers this cost is unreasonable.

Pure greed is the only reason why. They could do it but don't feel they have to so won't.

MTG did very well over the years printing real paper cards,shipping/distributing ,setting up tournaments all over the world.Even Square Enix ran many years of a TCF for the Final Fantasy series.
Now they operate hands off,no printing presses,no shipping, selling digital copies that NOBODY actually owns,so selling digital licenses lmao,PURE profit,it has to be around the 95-99% profit range per card. They sell millions, pay off their employees and not a lot more.

I laugh when i hear any mention of FREE,they give us nothing,we don't own it,cost them nothing to give to us,well i mean they are giving us digital copies so yeah literally nothing.

This really should send a message loud and clear as to what devs think about YOU as a gamer,it is like THEIR pocket books are way up high on the totem and YOU the gamer is about 5 miles below ground. The only time devs care to ever see you is when your CC is ready to transfer funds.
