Can anyone help me remember an old MMORPG?

I think it might be Faces of Mankind, that was 2006 though.

Edit. Endless Ages could be it too. It had first person combat too however.

You might be right about Endless Ages.
I think this might be it!  Thank you!

Thanks again!  I'm not 100% sure, but I'm as close to sure as I've been in over a decade :D

Too bad there's not much in the way of gameplay footage around.  Particularly the character creator and starting zone.

Good reason why there isn't any footage - people are trying to forget what a hot pile of garbage it was
Apparently you are right as I seemingly have repressed the entire memory.

The only other time I recall this happening is when I was CERTAIN I had never seen Ted until I found the ticket in my jacket the next winter.

I forget things from time to time myself.
I could have sworn that I'd never been to a Hairy Buffalo Party, but the pictures that were in the newspaper proved me wrong.

Nope, won't do it, not even going to Google what a Hairy Buffalo party is, much less ask.

It's punch with booze in it, lol.
I never knew how it got it's name. But in the early days at colleges, they just threw whatever people brought into a big tub. I suspect that beer and a variety of flammable spirits, and whatever else, was the cause for it's name, spoken the day after.

Now, bars have their own special blends that are quite good.

I thought that with the age group that's here, I'd get a good laugh out of that. Maybe it was a regional thing.  :/
