A game where people type somewhat coherently, and every word isn't in 4 year old talk. Which, nowadays, isn't any online game. image

Another atypical degrading thread from the same ole genre of online police that continue to drive people away from online gaming and back into their own little wonderland.

I quit online gaming and only curmudgeon curmudgeons now.

Here's how I went in gaming...

Console -> PC (Offline) -> PC (Online)

After playing MMOGs, I really can't play single player games for very long unless they're really good. I can't stand not having people to talk to and interact with.

So I guess, Online for me ;)

    And about the whole spelling thing;

People whose first language isn't English can't be expected to spell perfectly, and if they do, they're just that much better than me because I can only write in one language :)

But the people who can't spell and English is their first language really need to try a bit harder. It's only two more letters for the full word "You".

What are you trying to ask? Do we like dowloading our games, or buying them on CD-Rom or DVD? Or are you asking if we like to play single player games, or multiplayer games?

I think Ice is asking if you like online or offline games. ::::31::

Solo games are alright and all but, you don't really get to talk with other people in it.  Online games are cooler cuz there's people to talk to and actually form a type of relationship with.

It's pretty hard making an NPC understand that you JUST can't afford that special item.  I like getting items for lower prices then the npc and junk, also someone to tell all my stories, adventures within the game.

Well, only redeeming thing about solo games is well... you can cheat and not get in trouble. image

Professor Hubert Farnsworth - That question is less stupid but, you asked it in a profoundly stupid way.

I prefer online games due to playing against humans, although sometimes a good console/single player game comes along that really catches my attention. All in all ill say I play 80% online games, 20% offline/console.

I think it's the objective of your past self to make you cringe.

Been playing computer games since they have been around.

Started with Kali Doom online then stuck with deathmatch, TDM, CTF, etc for quite awhile. Also got into real time strategy.

Tried WW2O at release but in 2 weeks I could never get connected. Then tried EQ and didnt really flip my lid too much. Also checked out other MMOs but never really found one interesting enough.

Moved to the Philippines and retired. Then found SWG. Played that 2 years from release day. Gave up when jedi just got too much.

Since then I am "in the market" as it were. Looking for a new game. Still havent found one that really made me flip like early SWG did.
