Yay, more remasters for games I've already played instead of new games. Gaming studios have gotten as lazy as Hollywood.

The only game i would love for Rockstar to bring back from the past is Oni. Otherwise, make new games.

6 months after the fact odd timing for this, they must have something to sell.Ok yeah i see a GTA V video "coming to new consoles lol".

A nice looking world as is typical of their games but worlds that are pretty much identical with just a new skin.

WHat Take Two should have advanced towards since gta 1-2 is a more realistic world with real buildings instead of 2D buildings.
I would rather play a survival game with building mechanics than run scripted content because once that is played through then what..zzzzzzzzzzz.
I feel the whole TakeTWo GTA MAfia games persona is catered to young teenagers, they like hearing curse words seeing car crashes and just acting goofy.I prefer serious gaming and always have even when i was young.

But.... they do. At least from their point of view :)  First,

GTA V, on the PS3/360. Then a year later,

GTA V, on the PS4/Xbone. Clearly a new game, right?

And now, GTA V for the PS5 is nearly here too, their newest game.
It's the new industry standard for "trilogy", sell the same game 3 times, on 3 console generations...

(as it was the case the previous time, PS3/360 owners had to buy the game again if they wanted to keep playing on PS4/Xbone.
See? New game - says Rockstar logic.
But hey, it had 4k support, and better textures -> new game...
They even labeled it as Enhanced Edition :D  )

If they remake RD1 for the PC, I'll be a happy camper.

Personally I have no problem with remaking old games. I'd love to see some of my old favorites remastered.

    I'm looking at you Interstate 76 ;)

I still get annoyed that Rockstar hasn't made any new content for the single player GTAV experience since the game launched.

I understand that GTA Online is raking in the cash, so it makes financial sense to keep the focus on the multiplayer portion of the game, but it's still a bit of a kick in the teeth that the single player never got any love.

Yep, I've been ranting on the same since years. At the beginning the cars and radio stations they added to Online arrived to the singleplayer as well, but around 2015 they stopped that trend.
Ever since that, the game is the very same, the only difference is that its size increases after every update Online gets - for nothing, if you don't play Online.

(so GTA V then was 50Gb and ran well, now it's over 100Gb, loading time is about a minute, game is more sluggish, while it's the very same singleplayer game.
Oh, and while you load in, you have to watch adverts for the Online...)

Funniest thing is, they still sell it as a "new" game, just like they did at the PS4. Then they reasoned it with better looks (hence the "Enhanced Edition" label on the box), now they say better looks and some exclusive content, that's why it's Enhanced and Expanded for the PS5.
Except you get the very same 8 years old game, for $70.

(And the exlusive content will be most likely in the Online, similar to how PS3->PS4 and 360->Xbone switchers got some cars and weapons for free in the Online)
