IDk what or how the Covid relief programs work but sure seems like this studio should not be hiring so they must have got one of those loans.
This studio went basically dormant for a full year when times were good,NOW how all of a sudden are they hiring ?

This game has ONE gimmick on top of most rpg's ,is that good enough to dive in to another same old been there done that,nope not good enough.
I will yet again point to a VERY small team "ATLAS" and i can build ships,enter water zones with deep diving.I can tame loads of creatures and mount many of them as well use them to harvest and combat.
I can BUILD any where i want or able to is perhaps a better term.I can build ships and design them how i want and i can make use of Zaxis combat and a crew to sail my ship and work cannons and build protection barriers etc etc.

MMORPG's offer me what....pvp?Yeah we can get that ANYWHERE.
quests?LMAO i don't want to see another quest for as long as i live,i have done thousands of quests in my lifetime.
That one gimmick is not even a good one because one player basically runs the show and all you are is some pawn,no thanks dumb idea.

Maybe MMOS are just not your game ? sounds like you just enjoy single player RPGs or single player survival games. Not really sure why you even commented except to tell everyone you hate quests lol. I'm looking forward to this game and New World, I just don't enjoy MMOs we have currently, been playing EQ1 and 2 since I was 5 yrs old, moved on to SWTOR which was amazing and gave me my best MMO memories, then moved on to WoW and I stopped playing that because fuck Acti/Blizz. I've played in every New World test and I enjoyed it every time and it definitely needed some work but they are getting there. Ashes of Creation is also looking like it will be pretty fun.

Almost nothing. They read wiki, download or steal official video or stream and then restream that same stream from devs.


I almost forgot, they also comment how everything is great and defend devs everywhere, also sometimes just take 1 feature, read about it on wiki and then they comment for hours. It is actually very good stream if you want to fell asleep faster.

Did you seriously asked why hiring... Last time i check the hiring on their website has been there for month now. The first goal was 100 employees then back in 2019 and early 2020 he wanted a bigger team and was aiming for 150. It was the main reason why he wanted to change studio.. the team was getting bigger.Everyone were supposed to move in but covid hit and everyone is working from home.
