The sacred 'F' key..

For several years now, especially when trying new MMOs, occasionally I come across a game that simply will not let you rebind the 'F' key. Typically the games I find this in are coming from Eastern Asian countries. However, recently I came across this same problem in Cyberpunk 2077. I honestly couldn't believe it. A triple A title that has this? I've read that you can adjust it manually in the config file, but does anyone know why some developers are doing this? What's so special about the 'F' key that even if Keybinds are enabled, they won't allow you to change it?!

    I have no clue and could be completely wrong, but the F key is mapped to some controllers.  It *might* be something to do with a console port to PC that is interfering with the remapping, or the F key may be 'special' on some consoles.  Just a guess.

    I think this is one of those things that would go unnoticed by most people unless you have a config that differs from the standard WASD.
