My interest in Midnight Suns unfortunately went way down when they announced card/deck building mechanics. I don't want that in my strategy RPG.
I don't think I'd write it off with any certainty, but I admit that I am not "inspired" to look deeper into the game.
I did hear someone try to explain a possible reason for the deck building choice having to do with the cards representing a kind of "randomness." It makes a kind of sense to me that way, though it doesn't grab my attention

Timed exclusive. Although I only game on PS myself, but I admit, those are the worst kind of exclusives. Because at least you'd get your hardware full potential from exclusive titles. Timed exclusives are just meh.

There isn't really much combat or gameplay out on this is there? The little bit I saw was pretty much just wandering around. I do wonder just how much content the game has.
