what is good for me?

Hey. I been playing mmorpg's for a while and I am looking for suggestions some mmorpgs that would fit me. I have been checking the mmorpg list and not getting the information I want.

What I am looking for is fantasy MMORPG with the ability to solo but still be able to join up a group and go out. I don't like to PvP a whole lot so having that is not that important. I very much enjoy exploring and questing where you get a mix of going solo or getting in a group to do it. I feel items, skills, and levels play a big part of the character.

Some of the mmorpgs I have played are Runescape, Guildwars, and Diablo II.

If you could post a site, why you liked, and personal pros and cons of it that would be great!

I think so. While people emphasize (and properly so) the group-oriented nature of FFXI, there are certainly also things you can go off and do by yourself. It's a wonderful world to explore, too. It's class oriented, but you must properly develop your skills as well. And there's a fairly interesting array of items--equipment, consumables, and crafting materials.

I'm gonna suggest There. Unlike most MMORPGs in There you create your own experience and the world around you. Basicly, you can choose to create or do anything you want. You can actually create an in world MMORPG or goto a member hosted event.

There has unlimited possibilities. You do what you want, and you create what you like. Your experience isn't spoon fed to you. There actually has some basic MMORPG elements like skilling and challenge. Its a challenge to build or create the next big thing. Member made content is main the thing about There, you can create and do whatever you want.

    Pros:

    - Member Made Content

    - Helpful And Friendly Community

    - In And Out World Building

    - Sevreal Sign Up Plans

    - Voice Chat

    Cons:

    - No Scripting

    - Submission Fees

"There" is a graphical chatroom. Its an "online getaway" not a role playing game.

Your very mistaken. There is not a chat room, it is a Virtual World or sub-metaverse. There is a user created Virtual World with a living and growing culture. The members are building and evolving the world every second.

At first glance There is a chat room, but you must explore and see the depth and passion each member has for There. It is a Virtual World. People must learn the difference between chat room and Virtual World because I am sick of replying to people who have not studied or even know the reason for Virtual Worlds.

Thanks for the suggestion of There but I am really not interested in Real Life games. Those have never really been my thing. I may check out Shadow Bane but I am unsure because it seems so PvPed based. I got Guildwars at the moment so I PvP there.

I was thinking about Final Fantasy and my friend used to play it. That be one I am going to check out.

    Any other suggestions?

Here are some links. These links explore the developement and vision of There. Also, some of them will be about the very theory of the metaverse and Virtual World's future. As well as a link to State of Play, a yearly conference on the subject of Virtual Worlds.
