NW is a mobile MMO masquerading as a PC MMO with high end system requirements...
Everything from the character creator, 3 skills, limited progression systems, generic copy paste mobs w/ bad ai, crappy itemization, minimal/lackluster animations is mobile-like...
From what posters have said I have noticed "console dumbing down", I don't think they will try to port this to mobile that would be a bridge too far as it were. What about the faces, can you at least give yourself a different face and hair?
For the RP angle the more options the better, from a big battle angle the less options the better, it is a tricky balance.

I don't know. I mean if there is one company that understands the value of mobile sales, it would be Amazon. The mobile games market is so bloody huge compared to console and PC, it would honestly surprise me if they weren't considering a mobile version at some point.
Hard to imagine Amazon leaving money on the table, especially if NW does well at launch.
Consoles, mobile phones, Blockchain, crypto, Twitch, the sky's the limit I think.

I also think the character creator is laughable bad and they should be ashamed for it.
On the other side don't really care as I mostly don't look at my character that often and even if I do not look at him from behind he will most probably wear a helmet/mask.

This said, if they manage to get that kind of graphics on a mobile device, they will deserve praise...
Notice in all the mobile-like features I mentioned I didn't include gfx? But now that you mention it for how the game runs shutting down players gpu and causing other comp issues I'd say that the price being paid for the 'nice gfx' isn't worth it.
You'll probably accuse me of being a "liar" now so go over and check out the NW beta forum on Steam. Like I said a few days ago when everyone here was saying "iTz OnLy EvGA bCuZ dEY sAiD sO" and mocking me now you have proof from multiple players saying exactly what I said days ago that it wasn't/isn't just EVGA.
How did I know that info days ago when the wanna-be tech gurus here insisted it was "just EVGA" and "not Amazon's fault"?

So now with all these different cards having problems and NW undeniably causing all these other computer related issues do you still think "it isn't AGS fault'?
I enjoy the game and my 3090 has no issues running on Lumberyard. (Or any other CryEngine based game engine)
What I would like to see once launched would be a couple different character body options Other than that I am fine with the creator. I was able to make a blue haired Asian looking guy. That is all I ask for....

If it is not the card's fault, why do card manufacturers issue replacements?
If I write my full response to your bait question there's a 150% chance it'll get me banned so I'll just say..
I personally put little value in visuals of my character because 90% end up covered in gear as noted by poster above..However i do realize that people like to have some form of visual customization,at least as stated skinny/fat or tall/short.
As to WHY no customization or morphing/stretching??Well i never got much into this and it was way different back in the day because models/sections were not typically scaled to many different sizes however now a days it is very common.
IDK the methods they are using to skin/texture the models but i might make a guess that they simply don't have any code in place to scale the textures across various sized models/sections without looking pixelated.
They might even be using such archaic methods that optimization would be a problem.
I am sure someone from a content creator or website could ask Amazon studios this question to get an accurate...well somewhat accurate answer IF they decide to tell us the real answer.

Maybe all of us that are in beta should put in our feedback for changing the character creator for the game. They still have a month to change things up. LOL. before launch! I did my part and sent them feedback.......

My computer locked up while I was AFK and I came back with screen flickering . After rebooting computer the screen is still flicking . Ruined my monitor
Anytime I load the game it insta restarts my pc.
Gigabyte AORUS RTX 3080 Hard Crash (+unable to boot for an hour) I guess this is more of a warning than anything but I run a 10700k as well as a 3080 Gigabyte AORUS (no overclocking on either) and the game has hard crashed my computer TWICE.
AMD Radeon RX580 Crash/Hangs Hard Crashes and System Hangs while playing on an AMD Radeon RX 580.
Game is chewing up to 55-60% of CPU when I have to force shut it down and video driver crashes and reloads. Did try previous version of video card driver with doing a clean install and that made no difference.
I have a 2060 Super as well as a Ryzen 5 2600 and my temperatures are well within normal range, but yet new world after like 30 minutes makes my computer turn off..
Symptoms- Monitors will both turn black with graphics card fans running high. Can only perform a hard shutdown/restart
My pc keep crashing at Launch.. i tried everything i belive... got a geforce rtx 3070 TI. the pc is not even 1 month old.
I believe there are issues. I came back from AFK one day to find my GPU fans running like a jet engine and the screen black. A hard reboot fixed it for me, but I suspect if I was gone longer it would have been worse.
That was before they patched the fix for the main menu.
That said, there are a massive amount of people playing. If they broke 200k simultaneously that means they have multiples of that playing since Beta started. I think it’s a very low percent of people that had problems. Sucks for them to be sure, but it’s not likely to be more than a fraction of a percent of people.

In other news (and just as off-topic in a thread about character creation) NW = massive interest and Crowfall = almost no interest.
Anyone who thinks some posters' (at least a couple) NW slagging in all NW threads isn't about the size difference of that interest hasn't been paying enough attention to the Crowfall and NW posts here these past couple of weeks.

As to WHY no customization or morphing/stretching??Well i never got much into this and it was way different back in the day because models/sections were not typically scaled to many different sizes however now a days it is very common.
