Dragons as pets

in Everquest II

I recently got EQ2 and I had heard you could get dragons as pets baby dragon I mean. But when I checked the web site I found something that gave me the impression that there limited edition pets that can only be gotten by having preordered EQ2...is this true or does that just mean you can get them really early in the game by having preordered and if you don't do that you have to find them in battle or something.

    people got dragons from preordering the game or buying the collectors addition. besides that theres no way to get them besides buying one off the broker, and they arent cheap =.

    no they dont, they just look cool. same with the monkeys for the expansion. theyre house pets.

    Aye Dragons were given out as a limited edition pet when you pre-ordered EQII or bought collectors edition but they go for lots and lots of Plat on the brokers now. Monkey's are being given away with the DoF expansion but they are being made "No-Trade" items...boo!

    Well those pets are dum they mess up your house and there hungry do you really wanna be a mom in Eq2 Enough said lol

    just in case you're serious:

    a) they dont touch/move any existing furniature
    b) you dont/cant feed them

    Well you can feed them but its not a tomagotchi (or whatever its called). Kinda lame really. I dont see whats hard making them availabul to have out of house....

    Well atleast there's hope in getting a dragon now..... I don't really want a stupid monkey O.o but I love dragons :D
