    ZZZzzz...the lawsuit...unionisation...zzzZZZ. For heavens sake no one at Activision sneeze or we will have an item about someone sneezing, plus the obligatory rehash of what you would have to have been hiding under a rock not to have heard about. :)

    Looking forward to the launch, happy to wait until then as I have never played the franchise before and always felt I missed out.

    'This does not apply just to ED but SC or any other game. What they will get is Rebirth/X4, likely prettier but equally underwhelming and pointless. 

    It is incredibly difficult to design some meaningfull leg content that would fit a space ship game - simply because it is not a leg game.

    It is just huge resource waste....'

    You don't have to boycott them, and I don't think people should have to turn their hobby into a moral conundrum if they don't want to. I won't be playing, but I don't think less of you for wanting to play.

    That said, can we not equate sexual harassment and an employee suicide to sneezing. This isn't a case of "oops, I tripped an accidentally shared nude photos of a coworker at a company party."

    I will assume you misunderstood, the sneeze was meant to say anything happens there, anything and we hear about the same issue.

    We got the same facts about the case/unionisation in the some people are leaving/fired article, in the player figures (before the case was announced) article, now this one. If we get this in every item about Activision until the court case is out, don't you think that's a bit repetitive? I think they have a lot to answer for and I look to the court case to sort that out, just don't think we need to hear about it every time, maybe you do? If there is an actual development in wants going on happened then sure you need the previous context.

    The writers are truly becoming obnoxious with the copy paste "after the allegations/lawsuit" conclusion of every Activision Blizzard post. 
    I would not say its obnoxious, it is actually what is done around the world when there is a big narrative going on about a company, a government minister, whatever. But it can in my eyes become hounding them to keep the story going, it is a fine line and I am not pretending I would always know where to draw it. But I am sure the staff are doing this in good faith, indeed they are simply doing what nearly every other media journalist is doing so their "professional bubble" just reaffirms they are making the right choice.

    I used to love this game.
    But now its just proof that they are completely out of fresh ideas, its pathetic how they just go for the money without ever trying to offer something to players.

    No fate but what we make, so make me a ham sandwich please.

    Why? It's a great game that got a complete graphical upgrade making a great game playable today.

    Your opinion is like saying a restomod shoebox Nova is proof that there aren't any good cars today... even though there are a lot of great cars today.

    I tryed the game for 1 h and it was like picking up a rock i once found on a beach that ment alot to me when i was a kid, but today that rock is just a rock that looks boring and have no value...Thats how i felt this game was to me today. Good gae when we dident know there was better games out there.

    Im not gona buy the game..its to slow paste for me. I find it hard for the adhd kids today to like this game..maybe old school fans will like the game but how many people are they compared to the adhd kidz that is the real money today...

    It''s not a 30 year old game. It's a new game based on a 30 year old one. Changes were made beyond the aesthetic. It needs beta like any other new game.

    The only time I see a narrative reiterated like that is when new information and/or events specifically related to that subject occur...

    Instead we get, "Diablo 2 Resurrected Open Beta Starts Today,  amidst the ongoing lawsuit wherein Activision Blizzard is being sued by the state of California’s agency regarding allegations of sexual harassment and discrimination, particulary for women of color."

    Next we'll see, "Mike Morhaime pets a puppy, amidst the ongoing lawsuit wherein Activision Blizzard is being sued by the state of California’s agency regarding allegations of sexual harassment and discrimination, particulary for women of color.".



    It's a gaming site. One can expect it will occasionally be about games. They mentioned the other in the opening blurb, so it isn't like it was forgotten.

    I read on multiple websites it is not. Do you have a link? :)

    I play barbarian in this beta for fun. If there was no wipe, I would start a new sorc which is always my main.
    Just checked and it is indeed a big no. Sorry for the confusion, thought I read it in one of the articles through the battle.net launcher. Went druid myself, will never play it at release so all is good.

    What they are doing to Diablo II is sacrilege, that game was perfect when the old studio operated the servers for it.

    Could you elaborate? Because I am going through the differences with a fine comb and this is an extremely faithful version as far as I can see. And I have quite the Diablo obsession and history. Or is this purely server related?

    I don't want to sound a down note based on five seconds of a video, but having only just checked the graphics they seem a tad old to me, I must admit I thought the remaster would...remaster more?
