Hi, I would Like to get in touch with someone from that guild. So if anny of you guys in here see a member plese tell them to go to this thread. I played the trial in the beggining of the summer and I am about to start up again.
Hi all, I am looking for a new MMORPG. I like the look of this one and am curious if it is so far along that it would not be worth starting a new subscription. I posted on this thread because it seemed to be the only active one...
FWIW..I liked AC and CoH and absolutely hate Guild Wars.
I really don't think it is too late to begin now. I tried it for 2 weeks in the beggining of the summer and I really got the impression that your levels doesn't matter much. The community of Ryzom is soo friendly and helpful.
I come from the harsh, unfriendly and higly immature community of WoW. So it took me by surprised to actually be treatet with respected and dignity from the rest of the player base
aprince: annaiu is totally right ... the comunity of ryzom is what makes the game so special for me. all the ppl you will meet are genraly more then willing to help in many ways, from giving you shiney new toys to offering advice on what to bash, burn and kill to spending time with you throwing you heals so that you don't trip over every yubo you see (think small racoon the easiest thing in the game to kill and proll the first thing to die from)
there is a 2 week trial which is totally free and available to dl over the internet. when you first start the trick is NOT to pick fight as one of your skill packs (however tempting this may be). all you get with the fight skill pack is a knife and that is it. you can go out and start punching things in order to get the xp wheras if you didn't get say magic you would have to spend lots of skill points at another trainer to start yourselff on that path.
also spend a day or so on the tut island and get yourself to about lvl 20 or so in fight/ magic. lvling on the mainland will be alot faster once you come across that way.
if you ever need anything the fluffy bunnies are always more than willing to help out.
look out for azad .. our leader (usuallay sat at pyr tp)
me, fyrosfreddy gusglitz oneeyes and xycox all high officers.
if ya get stuck. are unsur about what to kill. need a resuractoin always ask and somone will be around to help
