My name was Wire393 in the game, I was well known, had tons of friends. The game was so much fun, doesn't measure up to anything else I've ever played. The game itself rocked, but the players made it. It wasn't just doing missions, it was the role playing part with our crews and factions as well!!
I miss this game dearly and wish A LOT they'd bring it back. Obviously it would need graphics updates and such but I'd be willing to start at level 1 again if it meant being back in Mega City!
I miss doing missions, having sparring tournaments in the dojo in International district, being able to hyper jump and hyper sprint, dodge bullets, fight Smith clones, meeting devs in game for roleplay meetings (Like Agent Gray or Skinner for example)
I'm praying they bring it back, I've missed it so badly it's painful. I've had many dreams that they did bring it back, but it will need big time marketing and improvements. (Some of my dreams turn out to be premonitions)
As with most SOE games, the players of this game were totally dedicated to only this game; even though they were a small base. Some left MMOs all together after it was closed. The same thing happened with Galaxies. I knew of a lot of players that only liked it because it was Star Wars online and could care less about any other MMOs.
I was involved with Guild Wars for over a decade before I quit. Got bored. Never bothered with another MMO, if it's not as good as MXO what's the point.
