I checked in for my (now) weekly fix of EQ1, and the launcher had an announcement that linked to this post on the EQ Forums.
They are introducing a new set of Perks, which add some in-game benefits. The interesting thing (to me, at least) is how they are doing these -- as a monthly additional charge on top of the All Access subscription charge. I began wondering if this was an indication of some corporate dissatisfaction with EQ revenues. Does this desire for increased revenue from EG7/Daybreak give any hints of future actions, especially in light of recent happenings at EG7?
Will EG7 be the first company to push the traditional $15/month subscription model out the door? I guess we'll see.

I'd say the average person spends over 100 a month on everquest when those new servers start. Then the bots and cheaters take over, every one quits, and they do it over and over and over for like the last 8 years or something I don't, I stopped paying attention lol.
Everquest is a nipple milker company, like almost all niche mmos, ulitma online, unchartered waters, ddo, arche age, and I'm sure people could call out lots more I haven't played.
So them raising the all access fee wouldn't give them much income. Unless they are rasing kronos with it.
