Anonymous hacker has just released 125GB torrent of data from Twitch, including:
-Source code for Twitch and its client programs
-Data for properties owned by Twitch like CurseForge and IGDB
-Creator payout reports dating back to 2019

There's also info that Amazon Game Studios is planning unreleased Steam competitor, codenamed Vapor.

People are still going through the leaked data, and there's at least one Twitter claim that it includes also encrypted passwords. Twitch users should change their passwords and/or enable two factor authentication to be safe.

Steam competitor code named Vapor? If they cancel the project, there will be no end to jokes about "Vaporware." Still, was only a matter of time until they got into that.

Otherwise, this is a hit for Amazon/Twitch and a real failing of their security it sounds like. Will be interesting to see the fallout and hopefully the end user don't end up being impacted too much (though that ship may have already left port with the potential password leaks).
