    So to my point, calling it Fallen Earth "2" is a stretch, more of a "Reborn" version instead.

    I played FE back when it was new and shiny, enjoyed it quite a bit because of the big open virtual world it offered.

    I remember the combat being a lot to be desired, I remember it being one of the points of contention with the game.

    Was that ever improved upon over the years? How is the combat today?

    A bit janky, but feels more so compared to newer MMOs. I mean most older MMOs do so take that with a grain of salt. It's still a cool world and I think this game deserves to be kept alive in some form. Even a revamp, with maybe one classic server available would be cool. I didn't like it when it first came out, but years later I tried it again and kinda came to like it.

    Since they are releasing a classic version I'm assuming the combat will be pretty much the same as you remember it.

    Been a long time since I played so enjoying it so far, and yes the world is still big......Only issues I have had is some minor lag when everyone else said they were lagging too, so other than that seems to be fine.

    That can get cloudy sometimes, I’m remembering a lot of bugs. But I definitely remember that I liked the game overall.

    Personally I hope it’s a fewer bug version which ever one that might be.

     I need to play Soverath’s Skyrim mod before I install FE :)

    I got my steam copy to work, the official site version kept erroring out on me, not sure why.

    Odd.  A Steam search doesn't find Fallen Earth.  It could be something with the 'new' steam search function.

    It won't, it just popped back up in my library because that's where I owned it.

    I hope Star Citizen is paying attention and patching these things before it becomes a problem.

    Yeah it's glitchy too. Some strange ass glitches like the exorcist head glitch you get when looking at someone and running sideways up a ramp. It's the kinda shit would only expect to see come out of studio run by first year game development students haha
