Due to the ongoing fight with snail games/wild card studio and steams delisting they are making their own launcher and sale platform which is supposed to be compatible with the steam servers.
Sucks for the guys, but there has got to be more to this.
Well steam so far has only delisted it and not made them shut down servers and refund everyone yet. And they regulary update and add stuff on the steam servers.
