Like two years back everyone was carious on how well a classic WoW would do after some time had passed.
Does anyone know if any data is given, or any idea of populations.
I'm asking not only for WoW but to get an idea if their is still a desire for second generation games.
Same question could hold true for Everquest 2 and its Time lock servers but Daybreak never really advertise their product to give a good account as Blizzard does.

Sorry, I clicked on agree... slip of the finger.
Lot of the servers are lopsided and the PvP ones had some rather imprudent transfer options that resulted in them becoming dominated by one faction. They also have hardcore players that cannot group to do dungeons with the normal players plus they are afraid to die.
The old classic servers are basically dead. By making people make a choice whether they wanted to transfer to TBC or remain, it effectively killed them because it would cost money for every character you have to remain. I logged into Orgrimmar on my server which was supposed to have the largest Horde population and there was no one there. The alliance side was marginally better.
Truly criminal the way Blizzard handled the classic servers.
