If i have deleted play online for final fantasy XI, and i lost my cd key is there a way to get back on without buying a new game?
Is it on the cd?

Hmm. In fact, you can reinstall without your CD keys, as long as you remember your POL ID and password. But you cannot add new expansions, or add or delete content IDs, without your FFXI registration code. You may be SOL on this; you might try calling SE support with your POL ID and billing info, but even then there's a good chance they can't do anything for you.

Er, who told you that? Have you done it? My understanding is that replacement registration codes will NOT be issued under any circumstances.

I have to agree with this. I just re-installed and was going to start playing again after a year hiatus, and went to their site to check what I had to do to start my account again.(I wanted to see if I could re-use my old account or had to buy a new game)...along the way I noticed that there was something about them NOT giving you (re-issuing) your cd key. If you lose it, you're SOL, and have to buy a new copy of the game.
