I really wish they would sell Rift to SSG or Daybreak. I know people have problems with them, but they actively develop the IPs they have. I miss Rift.
How many could actually be working on Rift if there are no updates and they had had layoffs 2017 and 2021?! Did it go from 10 to 5 to 2? I am confused as to what they are working on besides ensuring the server stays on.
Early on, not many as they weren't updating the game. With an update coming in 2022 presumably the number working on Rift increased at some point.
Well, compared, to say "LONG AGO" Rift had moderately frequent updates. Then, Semi solid DLC, followed by infrequent updates, followed by..... I mean we got this expansion but its tossed together. by presumably 1 person (I don't know exactly how many houselves they keep on). Its got love, but aint got soul, and even if they start putting some real /bleep out, I'm on the fence.
