Regardless of how you feel about the 1st one the 2nd one looks stunning. If they can eliminate the P2W heavy mechanics from the 1st I would definately play this.
I really want to play this. I'm hoping to be able to play before they turn it P2W as long as I can while there's still a population. I still want to play the current AA but unfortunately even the normal servers are largely dead.
Don't fall for trailers, which you obviously have. It's a mug's game. They're just eye candy. They can make ANYTHING look good, and you need to look no further than Archeage 1 for proof of that.

this is so fail. How you all not seeing this? Action Combat?
All MMOs must be made the same way to maximise the player base and that now includes action combat, it may not even work that well in a MMO setting but that's not the point. Players expect action combat as that's what they play elsewhere, so all games must now have it. Pick something that is mainstream in gaming, it will have already been put in MMOs already in MMOs or it will one day be, that's where MMO design has been for over a decade.
I saw few "multiplayer interactions" shown. Combat I saw was all solo. I had a huge Elden Ring vibe watching it.
This is an MMO?

Personally the only modern MMORPG trend that annoys me is the idea that MMOs need to be designed in a way to attract people who don't actually like MMOs. Which to me makes about as much sense as someone trying to figure out a way to get vegetarians to eat at their steakhouse. - FARGIN_WAR
