If they do decide to have all the fluffy typical eastern cosmetic crap in the game, I hope they have an off toggle. I'd love it to remain true to this video, the setting looks astounding.

And options for a clean and hidden UI. I don't want 10,000 daily notifications with whistling and ringing bells in face my when I am trying to enjoy this fantasy.

My only reservation; and i feel like all of us should be keeping this thought in the back of our minds; is that NCsoft has a problematic history of showing gameplay/teaser trailers that outline a certain vision they have; and the trailers always look great- but when the actual game is put in players hands, the game and it's vision has changed sharply by then.

We've been down this road before(Aion vision trailer); we've been snowed by these guys a couple times already, so just keep your expectations heavily guarded going forward.

Think they've shown bits of more fleshed out gameplay already with the entire interfaces and such, points to this being already locked down not just the up in the air early version. But this coming from Lineage it's going to have a focus on PvP and their whole thing shown already to be about larger scale pvp, the pve side of things is where the real unveiling is to me.

I don't believe for a second that this game is going to be anything beyond a rehashed Korean grinder with the same shitty monetization that we've come to expect from titles just like it. It's the same shit over and over again. Same game, different dressing.

Going through that trailer I can say that some of it definitely made it into the game. I stopped playing at some point as the game, for me, is just boring.

I did enjoy my time with it but when they changed how pvp works, the abyss, the portals, it all just became dull.

As much hype as people want to have for this title, just remember at the end of the day, its still a NCSoft title. How many 'big' NCSoft titles are on the market today? I guess technically GW2? But people have their own opinions of EoD.

The rational person inside of me knows it's a NCsoft title and the game will be P2W af.
