Everything now will be based on your past experience.  If the game is worse than what you have played before, I doubt it will be much fun.  That has been my experience at least.  I can get a little fun here or there, but it leaves quickly once a games quality cannot even get close in comparison.

Playing Blade and Soul and continueubg the main quest.

Blade and Soul Story  already has me emotional xD.

OG  Runescape Classic was my first MMORPG experience. I found a game called Highspell at highspell.com and it was made in the image of RSC classic. They are very similar in so many ways it sort of woke up nostaligc feelings and my MMORPG Virginity again lol..  so maybe finding similar experiences to old MMORPG's you havnt played in years can awaken those feelings again for you whatever yours are.

Also how come i cannot make my own thread? I wanted to make a thread for Highspell to introduce it to anyone else who enjoys oldschool top down view classic mmorpg's.

Unfortunately new joiners whose first post is to "share" information about some new game are quite often adbots, so the site has a few checks to see if you are really a member of the community and not just advertising on some game's behalf.

Right now I'm wondering if adbots are getting smarter and have learned to ask how to get the ability to create new threads.

Here in the US, a certain leadership has told politicians they "have to vote for it to see what's in it." Well, I checked out that massive legislation as best as I could (about 30% of it in a grueling effort) and it was scary. Combined with what we saw happen with the Covid shutdowns (supply chain interruptions), it gets even worse. All based on a very negative world view on the part of >some< elitist "leaders." 

What they are doing, and have been doing for many years, is removing responsibility for their goals from themselves, and putting it on a bureaucracy or other outlier. That way they can't be blamed, and can stay in power (because we need them, more and more, thanks to...them) to advance their agendas even when things go bad. 
That agenda turns us all into chattel (property) of the state. So much for freedom and our rights, if that happens. 
Not them, though, they're special, hero complex and all.
