Even if you ultimately leave it is never a waste to experience and get some enjoyment instead of simply being bored to death with nothing to play.

On regular games or official games I'll agree with that thought. Private servers will always depend on the type of game and the type of private server. Some private servers have been around for a decade or so, so those are alright to get invested in imo. Others can either have so much drama or what have you that it does become a big red flag on the screen every time you play kind of hard to ignore. Plus some people like know they 'exist.' Not every one finds something like that important, but stopping a game and coming back with certain things in your inventory or people recognizing you after months/years can be part of the 'fun' element people seek.
If you like games with puzzles Cocoon is a rally great new game. Ratchet and Clank is my next game as well and it's on Steam. BG3 is really popular. It just got a really big performance update and runs allot better.

There are more games being made by more studios and more people playing games. Hardly dead.
But, like you said, you want a new "World of Warcraft."
That's the crux of your issue. I don't know if we'll get a new mmorpg with that level of money AND that aligns with what you want to play.
There are indy mmorpg's that could release but they are going to be indy games. Not be as polished as AAA mmorpg's.
There are a few Asian mmorpg's that will launch but that has it's own issues.
You could go back to older single player games. I'm currently playing Arx Fatalis and Dark Messiah of Might and Magic.
I'm also dabbling with Exanima but that is a game that will most likely speak to a very small group of people.
The thing is, with older games, you have to accept lack of quality of life features, different control schemes and of course older graphics.
Still, there are a LOT of games coming down the pike. If you just can't get into new games and can't get into old games then sure. Rock, paper, scissors or just do "anything else."

But the problem its a 2 player game, so i cant actualy play that..im playing BG 3 for the 3 th time but it sgetting old now..i dont think i can complete it again. It was a good game that i enjoyed the first 2 times.
Not that its a bad game now cuz i completed it but you know what i mean.
Sold my blizzard account and playing warframe is fun for 1 h or until you did the dayli missions. Path of exile league is dead.
League of legends are so toxic and full of trolls that i endet up getting a week ban cuz i lost my head.

I dont drink when im alone and i hate reading books...so what else can you recommend me...I will play some path os exile 6 dec but thats only a 3-4 month league that usualy dies within 1 month since 3 month is to long.
Im looking forward for ashes of creation but than again who want to wait for 2030...

Have you checked out Banishers by DON'T NOD (makers of Life is Strange) yet? It's set in a fictional town of New Eden in the New World the late 17th Century. The two protagonists are ghost hunters (sort of like ghost Witchers) who banish lingering ghosts, evil spirits, and demonic forces to protect humanity. It has God of War style combat (especially the boss battles) with great visuals, sound, and a very story driven focus like their previous games.
For the heavy story driven games you've mentioned liking before (TW3, Skyrim, etc) it seems like it might be worth a look for you. The drawbacks I see, where you're concerned, is that so far it is very on rails and linear. Still, the story and characters are interesting. The default controls are a little loose which makes the combat feel sloppy, but they can be adjusted in settings.
So This league of POE sucks bad and im getting tired of that whole poe game...i cant even progress thru one map before i slumber in to the void....So very tired of that game.
