Platform Publishing, a label of Sony Online Entertainment, today announced that it has secured the rights to bring Disney's Toontown Online massively multiplayer kids game to consoles. Additionally, it will be bringing the existing PC version of the game to retail stores for the first time this fall. The boxed version of the game will retail for $19.95, which includes a two-month subscription to the $9.95-a-month service. Toontown has been available directly from the game's official Web site since June of 2003. For more information on the kid-safe online title, check out GameSpot's previous coverage.

Soe is the devil ha i used to think the same way till blizz came out with WoW now there the devil almost been a year and they still havent fixed there shit like servers end game content etc. at least dumb sony even tho i like all there games have always came out with content and fixed there shit if blizz would do the same the world would be a happy place

It's quite clear what's going on. The MMORPG publishers and developers are trying to make a move the next gen console crowd, who will have powerful hardware and be regularly online with their broadband connections.

Uh, Final Fantasy? SoE has nothing to do with Final Fantasy, and as far as I know, will have nothing to do with Final Fantasy.

For those who keep thinking Final Fantasy is owned by SoE it is not. It is under contract by Sony for the play station, SoE however is a completely different division. SE ~ Square Enix Owns Final Fantasy, and is not bound or licensed to SoE in any manner at all. My god people are stupid.
Alright, I do not play WOW or EQ2 and I refuse to buy anything made by SONY.
That's is because SONY is headed up by old school hardliner Japanese men, yes they make good business choices but they have gotten there with practices that would have gotten you thrown in jail if it was an american company. Now that SONY is on top they can now do what they want and nobody can say anything about it ....
