Everything else I did solo and wasnt even 625 when I did it, and quite sure you dont need the ennead quest to finish the main burning sands story.

Well, you're quite wrong because you do need to do the Ennead to get the Cleopatra quest chain that only unlocks after that.

You're also conveniently leaving out the gear drops that are unique to expeditions many of which are BIS so yeah, you do need to do group content unless you're OK with second-best gear... I actually am OK with that but you, OTOH...

Pretty well all of them have a "solo endgame" if you want it. What none of them have is a solo endgame with the same rewards as a group endgame nor should they.

And thus it is not a solo friendly game since it treats casuals/solo players as 2nd class citizens

You seem to have a problem with rewards for effort. It's definitely a theme in your many nonsensical rants about how it's not fair that you can get better gear from raids.

    Entitled much?

The end of the brimstone sands story is when you kill that demon boss solo trial after getting through the 9 gates, i am quite certain I did not touch the ennead quests for many weeks after i finished the main story, and the main reason I finished the ennead was for the glyph, not the side quest story.

Also in new world the best gear is craftable, unlike the rngfest that is most gear sources, you can easily craft any gear with the 2 perks of choice, and you can get the third perfect perk of choice with enough time and farming. (Though that will be improved next xpac cuz rng is still too much)

I am not sure what "bis" gear you are referring to when you can just craft everything with the perks of choice and raise it to 625 with umbral shards which is farmable through gypsum orbs.

The only thing you truly need a group for is base expeditions to get heartrunes, and I am fine doing it once just for that.
Which is a very big difference compared to games like wow where you either do mythic raid/m20, or your gear is trash and your character is WEAK

I ll turn it around and ask "Insecure much?"

The people who are OBSESSED with casuals not getting good gear are people who are so incredibly insecure, they need to keep casuals and solo players down so they can feel special.

Which screams big insecurity, but i never said elitists are healthy.

After all, if you were secure with your ability, you wouldnt care if a casual has max power gear because your skill would make you the better player, but you aint confident in that at all xd

Small reminder, this is a video game, not real life

If you haven't done the Cleopatra quests you haven't finished Brimstone Sands. Period.

It's not side quests it's the end of the main quest line given to you by the two main NPCs that have given you the main quest line quests from the moment you entered the zone.

OP have you considered playing with an AI group that you can set all their behaviour and they are really effective. Nytermoon a WoW private server. You can do all the dungeons and then you can also upgrade your companions to handle the harder dungeons end game. The ai in this done incredibly well. I had no issues soloing through the game and doing the dungeons. http://nyctermoon.wikidot.com

That sounds very interesting, I just don't like to play in private servers as they can close at any time :/
