Where's all the posters who were defending D4 to the hilt? I guess they are over in the Starfield threads now, defending that game to the hilt. We have a lot of honeymoon players on here. :)
Oh my aren't you the clever insightful one. You nailed it, they're actually playing games instead of playing YouTube review wars.

Maybe if you spent more time actually playing games and understanding why they work, or not, you could make your own comments about games instead of judging others.

Maybe you could ask Blueturtle's opinion. Oh, that's right, they deleted their account so they can't. I'll let your smooth brain figure it out.

Btw, D4 is a good game with a leadership problem. Starfield is an excellent game.
I am just pointing out that honeymoon players seem to leave their last love and move onto the next rather quickly when a new beau comes along. I can't see how buying these two titles and then regretting I had bought them early would change that opinion. But I note you don't see Sf in quite the same light you see D4.

Blue left? I am not surprised but still sad. He practically got chased out of the door. I guess in the end he agreed with Torval and decided to pack his bags, which is understandable. Intolerance is on the rise, even here.

    Edit: edited for clarity.

I am really sad to hear Blue decided to leave, he was a great poster and will be sorely missed. What I can't understand is that if you see some intolerance on a media platform you just leave it, how can that be the right response? Thinking back, I could have been more understanding, though at the time I thought I was being quite even handed.

Torval and Blue were two of our best posters, but people will say things on forums we object to, its just part of being online. I have only once reported someone having been on here for twenty years myself, so I don't think that's the answer.

I do have one idea though, maybe if more of us do a post reminding others we are supposed to keep clear of politics that could help? Any suggestions welcome as it is good posters that make these forums as good as they are.

I tend to just report and block them from further communication.  Arguing about China or vaccines in unrelated forums never turns out well.

Can't wait for the Blizzard hate train to arrive in the comments soon, while I still enjoy this game VERY much.

Also: Too bad Destiny 2 is heading towards maintenance mode now as Bungie focues on their other projects and new IPs.

Love the game myself. As a die hard ARPG lover since I've all but quit MMO's after WoW's disastrous Cataclysm expansion in 2012 I have only played ARPG's since and D4 is by far the best ARPG I have ever played and will only get better.
    Yeah I think it's great

It's definitely a very good ARPG I will play for years.

They do still need a lot of work in the 75+ part of the game as it gets grindy with a lack of meaningful loot from that point on. It's also way too reliant on Nightmare Dungeons as the only viable progress path and they really need to get away from their pathological aversion to powerful builds.

I was very disappointed in the last step of the season journey being so closely tied to level 95+ activities. D3 doesn't force GR120+ to complete its seasons but in D4 it feels like they are forcing the equivalent of that in the last season journey tier.

I have faith that they'll get it right eventually though.

The game leaves much to be desired. A single playthru for the story is nice. Then a season pops and it's back to a dull grind again, and a small story. After about lvl 70 it feels like a crawl. Yeah there's stuff to do....but why? There's no big bad that is hard to overcome, nightmare dungeons are fairly simple, and getting better gear is only needed to get higher dungeons...which tbh feels no need to get.

I mean I can spend HOURS in game, not interact with anyone, and do everything. And it is VERY VERY repetitive.

So far I have done one class to 100. One to 80+ and a few hardcores to 30-50 range. I am bored. =/
This is my experience as well. I loved my first play through and had a blast. Then I started a seasonal character and realized that its Diablo 3 all over again - new season = new character = same repetition and grind. But unlike some other games, it felt like a bad grind.

I have not played D4 since right after the season launched in July and worst of all, I do not miss it and have no desire to play again.

Exactly the key words here are 'desire to play'.  I've played many arpgs the repetition isn't an issue and  I have a lot of toons in Path of Exile and Grim Dawn and heaven knows the story is tiring and for a person who doesn't skip conversations more so but I have no desire to play the game and trying another class isn't enticing enough.

In Undecember I started a class just to try out new combinations because there you combine skills and can make crazy builds with traps or bow. Melee there people tend to use some overpowered ones but bow has a lot of possibilities too and the skill tree has customizations too. You can completely change your skill set but sometimes you may not want to give up or modify the hard rolled affixes of some gear or the fact that you have converted the skill to legendary.

In Grim Dawn how many times have you started a class to test out the primary class combinations there. D4, zilch not even to try a new class, now that isn't good at all for a game whose longevity relies on this aspect.

Blue deleted his account? Oh crap!! That is so sad. Both he and Torval are my friends on steam. This totally sucks.

Perhaps those that enjoy D4 are playing it rather than maintaining their part in largely pointless debate. Such squabbles can entertain for only so long.
