Is it an exact copy, or just similar? Either way random dungeons are nothing new so neither game is breaking new ground here,

What is new is that it will soon exist in ESO, expanding on what that game offers players.

My only concern with these sorts of additions is how well they will mesh with the whole game particular when it comes to rewards. I would expect most MMO players who have been in a few MMOs will have seen a new system getting introduced and it throwing other gameplay off kilter.

Considering that they are rehashing pre-existing bosses and encounters with only a small infusion of original encounters, it is what ESO has always been: a derivative, uninspired, soulless excuse of a game

I think it looks interesting, personally. And the fact that this is where you'll get the class sets from gives me motivation to farm the thing.
    Also leaderboards, collectibles, etcetera.

It shouldn't throw things off too much seeing as new ESO gear is more about the expansion of options rather than the escalation of power.

At least it won't create a gear discrepancy based on one's preference for group or solo play which happens in some games.

Yes, as Molag Bal yanked out the souls they had in the interim between their prior appearances and inclusion in the random dungeon.

At the very least it is another play option which in itself is positive. If it's done well enough to retain interest for a time all the better.

So it's a copy of FFXIV "tower" dungeons ( can't remember what they actually call them ), down to the mechanics and "boons".

So FFXIV "tower" dungeons are just a copy of the Lineage 1 Tower of Insolence, only randomized because it's cheaper than handcrafting content.
