you should've probably made the post about dragon quest x, because the other games aren't mmos, I'm pretty sure.

Just pointing out those fan projects have FULLY translated the game and are completely free. I have close to three thousand hours in dragonquest 10. The game is entirely in english menu's included. Only some map elements remain in Japanese due to being part of a picture and not a menu. It really is one of the best mmos out there.

"Hey have you heard of the award winning mmorpg Dragon Quest X? Did you know there is a free trial up through the award winning expansion "The Sleeping Hero and the Guiding Ally" completely free. "

Issues with ping are really non existant outside of a few fights (Which even I am only just getting to.) There are two classes such as pet master and item master which allow you to tame creatures out in the world and use them as party members (These used to be medeocre but thanks to a recent patch they are actually better than most players when you invest the time to level them up.) The entire game is playable solo since you can hire mercenaries or your friends so their offline characters can quest with you. It is the only mmo that has captured me like this since classic wow.

I should also point out that if you enjoy the trial the game is incredibly cheap for a sub based game. 36 usd for the game and all its expansions plus 5-7 dollars a month. Also it should be noted that players not in the US need a vpn. (They have a few channels based in the US due to the high japanese population here on work visas.)

Ark.... Ark being on here. I hope for the best. I haven't played here but the pc version... whew it ..... never seemed ready for anything but bug fixing. The only other real one, DC, is a good group game. A few levels in, solo, and you'll be crying (even though its cutscenes just DRAW you in, amazing...)

Ahh okay now I'm interested in DQX. I wasn't aware it was FULLY translated. I might give it a shot.

Dragon Quest X: "The best part is you can play it offline which sounds absurd for an MMORPG but you can experience all of the content solo."

That is actually the worst part, can MMOs get any more solo casual friendly, you can play them offline now! What is the point?

But apart from that it could be a good MMO, that for me though is a show stopper.
